~^Angel's^~ Seasoned-Smoked Ham

Why I Love This Recipe
In cooking for two, and keeping a frugal living, I learned to purchase precooked and sliced ham on sale. I would weigh out the ham evenly, then wrap the portions in plastic wrap to freeze individually for easier cooking later. To keep the juiciness and to add a little more flavor, I came up with this method and recipe.

Ingredients You'll Need
12 oz Precooked, sliced Smoked Ham
1/2 Tbsp Dry Minced Onion
1 Beef Bouillon Cube, crushed
1/2-3/4c Water- or enough to cover ham
1/8 tsp Seasoned Salt
1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
1/8 tsp Onion Powder
1/8 tsp Dry Oregano
1/16 tsp Black Pepper
Directions
1) Layer ham into the bottom of a medium/large skillet. Sprinkle with all seasonings, and cover with enough water to almost submerge all of the meat.
2) Over a medium heat, cover and boil approximately 5 minutes.
3) Turn down heat and simmer UNcovered 3-4 minutes or until heated through appropriately. If you wish for a more "fried ham" flavor, you may need to pour off part of the juices to allow the ham to lightly brown, and a longer cook time may be needed.)
