30 Day Coleslaw
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 large cabbage shredded
  • 2 large onions sliced thin
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3 tsp. celery seed
  • 3/4 cup oil
DIRECTIONS
  1. Toss onion, cabbage, the 3/4 cup of sugar and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Let sit while making dressing.
  3. Bring vinegar, mustard, 1/4 cup sugar and celery seed to a boil.
  4. Remove from heat, add oil and pour over cabbage.
  5. Toss well.
  6. Keep in a sealed plastic or glass container for up to 30 days.
  7. Let sit for 12 hours after making before using.
