5-Spice Pecans
INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 1/2 T. water
  • 1 t. cinnamon
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 3/4 t. 5-spice
  • 8 c. (1 1/2 - 2 lbs.) pecans
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl; mix well. Add pecans; stir
  2. until evenly coated.
  3. Spread pecans in a greased 15 x 10 x 1" jellyroll pan. Bake at 275 degrees
  4. for 50-55 mins. Remove to waxed paper while still warm; cool. Store in an
  5. airtight container.
