APPLE DROP BISCUITS
INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 10 to 12
  • Servings: 12
  • 2 c. packaged biscuit mix
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. walnut pieces
  • 1 small apple
  • 1/2 c. apple juice, apple
  • cider or milk
  • shortening
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Measure the biscuit mix, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add nuts and stir. Peel apple and shred it into mixture.
  4. Stir.
  5. Measure apple juice and pour into mixing bowl with other ingredients.
  6. Stir.
  7. Batter should be lumpy, so don't stir too much. Grease a cookie sheet and drop biscuit dough onto the sheet with a large spoon.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 12
  9. biscuits.
