APRICOT PEAR CORDIALS

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/2 pounds rock candy (see Tip, below)
  • 1 1/2 pounds dried pears and/or apricots
  • 2 liters vodka
DIRECTIONS
  1. Divide rock candy among containers.
  2. Add fruit and cover with vodka.
  3. Seal containers tightly and let stand for 6 weeks, preferably in a cool, dark place.
  4. Serve as an after-dinner drink or drizzle over ice cream.
