ARTICHOKE-OYSTER SOUP

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 cans (14 oz.) artichoke
  • hearts, chop, drain and
  • save water
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 2 onions (medium size)
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 can French onion soup
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 qt. oysters (small), drain
  • and save water
DIRECTIONS
  1. Saute celery and onions in butter. When it just begins
  2. to turn transparent, add chopped artichoke hearts. Stir in
  3. French onion soup and cream of mushroom soup. Add 3 cans water
  4. (can use artichoke or oyster water). Bring to rolling boil.
  5. Salt and pepper to taste. Add oysters. Return to boil. Let
  6. boil 5 minutes. Cut off completely, soup is done
