ARTICHOKES WITH PEAS
INGREDIENTS
  • 2 to 3 lb. small artichokes
  • 1 can peas or 1 box frozen
  • 1 onion
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Italian seasoning
DIRECTIONS
  1. Saute diced onion in olive oil. Clean artichokes and
  2. cut in half if so desired. Add artichokes to onions and brown
  3. for a few minutes. Add water enough to cover artichokes.
  4. Season to taste. When the artichokes are three quarters
  5. cooked, add peas and more water if needed and simmer until peas
  6. are cooked. Season again if needed. Serve as a side dish with
  7. entry.
