Acorn Squash
  • Acorn squash
  • 3 TB butter
  • 3 TB brown sugar
  • dash salt
  • plastic wrap
  1. To prepare: Cut in half.
  2. May halve by inserting a bench scraper into squash & hit with a rubber mallet.
  3. Scoop out seeds & strings. Add some water in the bottom of your microwave able dish. Cover with plastic wrap & bake on high 15-25 minutes.
  4. Then add 3TB butter & 3TB brown sugar to the tops of the squash, spread it around., then let it roll off into the cavity.
  5. Add a dash of salt.
  6. Broil in oven, 6” away from the heating element, to let it glaze.
  7. Broil for 5-8 minutes, in the oven to finish up.
