  • Sourdough pancakes ingredients:
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 egg

  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

DIRECTIONS
  1. Boil three large potatoes until they are falling apart, cool to room

  3. The mixture should be thick and creamy but not stiff. You can add
  4. flour to thicken it or water to thin it. If there are lumps, the sourdough bubbles will break them down. Cover it loosely and store in a warm place.
  5. When the mixture begins to bubble after a day or two, add a half cup of both flour and water and add a teaspoon of sugar.
  6. The starter is ready to use when it is full of bubbles and gives off a good sour aroma.
