Alex's favorite pancakes

  • 1 1/2 C. Flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 C. Milk
  • 3 Tbsp melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  1. Whisk the eggs until frothy. Add milk, vanilla and melted butter to eggs. In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients and slowly combine both mixtures.
  2. You can substitute half the flour for whole wheat flour and swap out the white sugar for brown sugar if you choose to make these "whole wheat".
  3. We will also add mini chocolate chips for a little extra fun! Just sprinkly over the pancake immediately after pouring on griddle. This will keep the chocolate from burning.
This recipe is a Saturday morning tradition at my house...and my kids are always happy to help with the preparation!
