Almond Crescents

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 3/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup uncooked oats
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
  • powdered sugar
DIRECTIONS
  1. Heat the oven to 325 F
  2. Beat the butter and almond extract
  3. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar
  4. Add the flour and salt
  5. Mix well
  6. Stir in the uncooked oats and the almonds
  7. Shape to form the crescents
  8. Place on ungreased cookie sheets
  9. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until light golden brown
  10. Roll the warm cookies in the powdered sugar
