Amish Cinnamon Bread
  • Amish Cinnamon Bread Starter
  • 1 cup oil or applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 small box instant vanila pudding
  • 4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3 chopped apples
  • 1/2 cup pecans (opt)
  1. Using the same bowl your Starter is in, combine all the above ingredients for the bread, using a wooden spoon. Batter will be very thick. Divide into 2 greased and floured loaf pans and Bake at 325* for one hour or until center tests clean.
  2. NOTE: After you get the Bread made...transfer your Starter you're keeping back into the bowl you made the bread in! It'll need room to rise!
This is by all means the BEST Cinnamon Bread around.But be warned once you start making it you can't stop!Hope you have lots of family and Friends to share the Starter with, because it's a sin to throw it out.
