An Amish Ham Salad

  • 1 lb Slice ham, cut in julienne-strips
  • 1 lb Can of sauerkraut, rinsed -and drained well
  • 1 lb Swiss cheese, coarsely-grated 1 Tablespoon Carraway seed
  • 1 Tablespoon Finely chopped dill weed
  • Mayonnaise to stick it all together
  1. Mix all ingredients together with a kitchen fork. Add mayo till it reaches consistency that you like
  2. Serve on favorite rye bread.
  3. To make it more of an appetizer serve on crackers
They may not use electricity but they do make a great ham salad. Great cookers & crafters, good GOD fearing people.
