Apple- Blackberry Crisp

- Topping:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) chilled unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- Fruit:
- 5 lb. Golden Delicious Apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 ½ cups fresh blackberries or frozen, thawed and drained
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup all purpose flour
DIRECTIONS
- For Topping:
- Mix flour, sugar& salt in flood processor; add butter and blend until resembles coarse crumbs (can prepare a day ahead and chill).
- For Fruit:
- Preheat oven to 350’
- Butter a 9”x13” baking dish
- Toss fruit with sugar and flour.
- Transfer mixture to baking dish and crumble topping over fruit.
- Bakes until fruit bubbles and topping is a golden brown; about 1 hour.
