Apple And Cheese Casserole
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 7 apples -- peeled, sliced
- 6 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
- Preparation:
- Mix flour, sugar and salt in small blow. Cut in butter until crumbly. Toss apples with water and lemon juice in bowl. Spoon into greased 8-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with flour mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 5 minutes longer.
