Apple Crisp

  • 4 tart apples (sliced and peeled)
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/3 cup margarine, softened
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp. nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Peel and slice the apples.
  3. Arrange apples in greased 8x8x2 square pan.
  4. Mix remaining ingredients in medium bowl and sprinkle over apples.
  5. Bake until topping is golden brown and apples are tender about 20 minutes.
  6. Serve warm.
