Apple Crunch

INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 40 to 45
- 6 apples -- peeled and sliced
- 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 4 cups corn flakes
- 1/2 cup butter -- melted
DIRECTIONS
- Arrange apple slices in 9 inch baking dish.
- Cover with one cup of the brown sugar, nutmeg and lemon peel.
- Roll corn flakes into fine crumbs and combine with remaining sugar and butter. Sprinkle on top of apples.
- Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until the apples are done.
- Serve with whipped cream.
