Apple Pancakes

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 med. tart apples
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 Tbs. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 Tbs. butter
  • 1 Tbs. baking powder
  • brown sugar
  • maple syrup
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 450degrees.
  2. Peel,core and thinly slice apples I
  3. n mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon.
  4. Add milk and vanilla,mix until smooth.
  5. Melt butter in a 12" oven proof skillet.
  6. Arrange apples in bottom of pan and pour batter over apples.
  7. Bake until apples are golden about (15 minutes). Turn by flipping pancake over a plate, then sliding it back into the pan.
  8. Continue baking until other side is is golden and pancake is cooked through. (About 10-15minutes.)
  9. Remove from pan, sprinkle with brown sugar and serve with maple syrup.
