Applesauce Nut Bread

INGREDIENTS
  • 3/4 C sugar
  • 1 1/4 C applesauce
  • 3 tbs veg oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 C self rising flour
  • 3/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 3/4 C chopped pecans
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine sugar, applesauce, oil and eggs in a large bowl
  2. Beat at medium speed 1 minute
  3. Set aside
  4. Combine flour and spices
  5. Add to applesauce mixture and beat until smooth
  6. Stir in pecans
  7. Spoon into greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 x 3" loaf pan
  8. Bake at 375 for 1 hour and 5 minutes
