Asian chicken drumsticks

  • 1 lb chicken drumettes
  • 1/2 c flour
  • 1t garlic powder
  • 1t onion powder
  • 1t kosher salt
  • 1t paprika
  • sauce
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1/2 c vinegar
  • 1/4 c soy sauce
  1. put all dry ingredients into ziplock bag and add chicken drumettes in batches
  2. make sure chicken pieces are coated with dry mixture well
  3. lay chicken pieces on lipped cookie sheet in single layer
  4. combine sauce ingredients in small saucepan and simmer for about 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved
  5. pour sauce over chicken drumettes, tossing to make sure they are covered evenly
  6. bake in 300 degree oven for 45 minutes
  7. turn pieces over, and bake for another 15 minutes
These drumsticks that my auntie margaret makes are really yummy, so there wasn't much to change on them - They always make me think of our holiday parties - so much good food, and a chance to catch up on what everyone has been doing during the year!
