Aunt Helen's Strawberry Graham Torte
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 3 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 3 egg whites
  • graham crackers
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • graham cracker crumbs
  1. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and oil. Add strawberries and nuts, mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff then add rest of sugar. Fold in strawberry mixtur, cover the bottome of a 9x13" dish with graham crackers and layer strawberry mixture then graham crackers, etc...Top with Cool Whil and sprinkle with Graham gracker crumbs. Cover and cool. Best if made the day before.
