BARBECUED SPARERIBS (Serves 4)

  • 3 lbs meaty pork spareribs, cut into 2 or 3 rib
  • sections
  • 1-1/2 cups fine chopped onion
  • 3 cloves fine chopped garlic
  • 2 tsp fine chopped ginger
  • 2 cups smoky barbecue sauce
DIRECTIONS
  1. Place 1/2 of the ribs in slow cooker. Sprinkle with 1/2 the onion,
  2. garlic and ginger. Pour 1 cup of the sauce on top. Repeat layer with
  3. second 1/2 of ribs, onion, garlic, ginger and sauce. Cover and cook on
  4. Low for 10 to 12 hours or on High for 5 to 6 hours. The ribs come out
  5. all brown with a smoky flavor. There is lots of sauce to spoon over
  6. rice or noodles.
