Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

  • 1 (8oz) can of halved water chestnuts
  • 1/2 lb. bacon-cut in half
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Wrap each water chestnut with bacon strip. Secure with toothpick.
  3. Place the chestnuts seam side down in baking dish. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and cooked.
  4. When ready, drain fat from dish.
  5. In a mixing bowl, mix mayonnaise, brown sugar & hot sauce.
  6. Mix and pour over water chestnuts.
