Baked Fruit Medley
INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 30 minutes
  • Servings: 12 -14
  • 1 orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 (16 oz) can sliced peaches, drained
  • 1 (16 oz) can pear halves
  • 1 (16 oz) can apricots, drained
  • 1 (15 oz) can sliced pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Angostura bitters
DIRECTIONS
  1. Grate rind of orange and lemon
  2. Peel and slice the orange and lemon
  3. Layer orange and lemon slices and remaining fruit in 13 X 9 X 2 inch baking dish.
  4. Combine orange and lemon rind, brown sugar, flour and bitters.
  5. Mix well and sprinkle over fruit.
  6. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes until bubbly
  7. Serve hot or cold
