Baked Mini Donuts

  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1/8 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp and 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1. preheat oven 425, grease doughnut pan with cooking spray
  2. 2. in a mixing bowl, beat together butter, vegetable oil, and sugars until smooth
  3. 3. add in egg, beating to combine
  4. 4. stir in baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla
  5. 5.stir in flour into mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour, making sure everything is combined
  6. 6. spoon batter into pan, filling 1/4 inches shy of the rim
  7. 7.bake doughnuts for 10 mins; remove and wait 5 min before turning them out of the pan.
