Baked Mini doughnuts
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 10 minutes
- Servings: 12 doughnuts
- Preparation Time: 15-17 minutes
- 2 tbsp of butter
- 1/8 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp plus 2 tsp of brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 tsp of baking powder
- 1/8 tsp of baking soda
- 1/4 tsp of nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla
- 1 1/3 cup of all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of milk
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 425 and grease doughnut pan with cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter, vegetable oil, and sugar(s) until smooth.
- Add in the egg, beating to combine. (still using mixer).
- Stir in the baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla.
- Stir in the flour into the mixture, alternately with the milk. (beginning and ending with flour). Making sure everything is combined. *Batter will be very thick*.
- Spoon the batter into the pan, filling a fourth an inch shy of the rim.
- Bake doughnuts for 10 minutes: remove and wait. 5 minutes before turning them out of the pan.
