Baked Potato

  • 1 Russet potato
  • 1/2 C melted butter or olive oil
  • Few sprinkles Kosher Salt
  • Few pinches black pepper
  1. 1.) Preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. 2.) Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper/ foil. Or wrap in foil and place directly on oven rack.
  3. 3.) Poke potato with fork
  4. 4.) First round bake for 25 minutes
  5. 5.) Brush potatoes with oil and butter with pastry brush and sprinkle with salt
  6. 6.) Second bake for 20 minutes
  7. 7.) Take potato out and squeeze with oven mits on, if soft it's done. If not, cook for 5 more minutes.
  8. 8.) slice the potato open lengthwise with a paring knife, give it a good squeeze to open it up, fluff the insides with a fork, add your favorite seasonings or toppings.
