Baked Potato

- Preparation Time: 5 minutes
- 1 Russet potato
- 1/2 C melted butter or olive oil
- Few sprinkles Kosher Salt
- Few pinches black pepper
DIRECTIONS
- 1.) Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- 2.) Prepare baking sheet with parchment paper/ foil. Or wrap in foil and place directly on oven rack.
- 3.) Poke potato with fork
- 4.) First round bake for 25 minutes
- 5.) Brush potatoes with oil and butter with pastry brush and sprinkle with salt
- 6.) Second bake for 20 minutes
- 7.) Take potato out and squeeze with oven mits on, if soft it's done. If not, cook for 5 more minutes.
- 8.) slice the potato open lengthwise with a paring knife, give it a good squeeze to open it up, fluff the insides with a fork, add your favorite seasonings or toppings.
