Banana Bar Cake

  • 1/2 cup butter -- softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 ripe bananas -- mashed
  • 2 eggs -- beaten
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Cream Cheese Frosting
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 13" x 9" pan.
  2. In bowl, cream butter with sugar. Add bananas, eggs, sour cream and vanilla.
  3. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture.
  4. Pour into prepared pan and bake in preheated oven 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool completely. Frost with cream cheese frosting.
