  • Preparation Time: 20 minutes
  • 1/4 cup white or turbinado sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 cup almond meal
  • 1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 Tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the dry ingredients: white sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, almond meal, and whole wheat flour.
  3. In a large bowl, mash together the bananas. Add the wet ingredients: egg, vanilla, olive oil, honey, and almond milk.
  4. Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the bowl with the wet ingredients.
  5. Grease a bread pan and lightly dust with flour to help prevent the bread from sticking to the pan. Pour the banana mixture into the pan. Bake for 60-75 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
