Basic Batter (Crepes)

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tbls butter or margarine
DIRECTIONS
  1. Place ingredients in the order mentioned into the blender.
  2. Blend 30 seconds. Stop, stir, scrape sides. Blend 30-60 seconds longer.
  3. Pour batter into pie pan.
  4. Preheat crepe maker until light goes on (about 3 min).
  5. Dip into batter at a slight angle, then flat. Almost to the edge.
  6. Light will go off
  7. Crepe is done when light goes "on" or crepe is slightly browned (about 45 seconds).
