Basic Smoothie Recipe

- Blend.
- Try the basic recipe with water first. OJ and sweet fruits may cause stomach upset, so I don't recommend OJ. If you like a really sweet smoothie, try apple juice - it covers the greens well. If you like a creamy smoothie, try Hemp, Almond, Coconut, or Soy milk.
- Add whatever greens you have on hand: romaine, spinach, chard or...skip the greens entirely.
- Feel free also to add in any powdered supplements. I usually add in some protein powder, maca and phtyoplankton (for Omega 3)
