Basil Aioli

INGREDIENTS
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. shallot, chopped
- 1 ea. egg yolk
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. fresh basil
- salt
- pepper
DIRECTIONS
- In a blender, add lemon juice, garlic, shallot and egg yolk.
- Blend for one minute.
- In a thin stream add oil SLOWLY or your emulsion will break.
- Add basil and season to taste with salt and pepper.
