Beef Stroganoff

  • Cooking Time: 45 - 50
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 small Onion
  • 1 lb Mushrooms
  • 1 lb Beef round
  • 1/4 Cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 16 oz Sour Cream
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a medium stop pot over meadium-high heat melt butter and add diced onion.
  2. Slice mushrooms and add to onion/butter in pan let cook until mushrooms release their water (sweating?)
  3. add 1/4 Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Cut beef into 1/2 cubes add to pot.
  5. Let cook thouroughly (about15-20 min).
  6. Add cream cheese and sour cream mix let simmer for about 30 minutes.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  8. I serve this over egg noodles.
