Beef Stroganoff
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 45 - 50
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1 small Onion
- 1 lb Mushrooms
- 1 lb Beef round
- 1/4 Cup Worcestershire sauce
- 8 oz. Cream Cheese
- 16 oz Sour Cream
DIRECTIONS
- In a medium stop pot over meadium-high heat melt butter and add diced onion.
- Slice mushrooms and add to onion/butter in pan let cook until mushrooms release their water (sweating?)
- add 1/4 Worcestershire sauce.
- Cut beef into 1/2 cubes add to pot.
- Let cook thouroughly (about15-20 min).
- Add cream cheese and sour cream mix let simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- I serve this over egg noodles.
