Beef and Broccoli

INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. top round steak sliced very thin
- 2 TBS cornstarch
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 TBS brown sugar
- 1 TBS soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 4 cups broccoli flowerets
- 4 cups cooked rice, or noodles
DIRECTIONS
- Slice beef into very thin strips. Mix cornstarch, 1 cup broth, sugar and soy sauce.
- Spray skillet with vegetable cooking spray and heat 1 minute. Add beef and stir-fry until browned and juices evaporate. Remove beef.
- Add remaining broth, garlic, ginger and broccoli. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 5 minutes until broccoli is tender-
- crisp.
- Add cornstarch mixture. Cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring. Return beef to skillet and heat through. Serve over rice.
