Beer Cheese Dip
  • 1 - Pkg of plain cream cheese (can use low fat)
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup of finely shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 pack of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing (the powder stuff)
  • 1/2 can or bottle of beer
  1. Let the cream cheese soften before mixing.
  2. Once it's softened combine the Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing, cream cheese, and the half a can of beer.
  3. Mix with a hand mixer until you get all the cream cheese smooth (no chunks).
  4. NOTE: If you use too much beer it will get runny. Make sure it's only half can - drink the other half of the can of beer.
  5. Mix in, either by hand or mixer, the finely shredded cheddar cheese. I usually do a little at a time and then keep going until it's all used up.
  6. Refrigerate before serving.
You can serve this with pretzels or crackers. I especially like it with Triscuits.
