Bell Peper Steak
  • Servings: 4 servings
  • 1 pound boneless beef sirloin or top round, 3/4 thick and sliced across the grain into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups thinly sliced sweet bell pepper,green,red,and or orange
  • 1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic,minced, or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 10 3/4 ounce can Italian tomato soap undiluted
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 4 cup cooked spaghetti or rice
  1. In a skillet over meduim high heat brown the meat in the olive oil, stirring often. Remove meat and set aside. Reduce the heat to meduim, add the peppers, onion, oregano,garlic,and black pepper until tender, stirring often. Stir in the soup and water and heat to boiling. reduce the heat and return beef to the skillet to heat thoroughtly. Serve over pasta or rice
