Best Peanut Butter Cookies

  • • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • • 1 cup Jif Peanut Butter
  • • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • • 2 eggs
  • • 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • • 16-ounce package (1 cup) semisweet chocolate pieces
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 325ºF.
  2. Cream together sugars, Jif and butter or margarine; beat in eggs.
  3. Stir together flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture.
  4. Beat just till well mixed. Stir in chocolate pieces.
  5. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon.
  7. Bake in 325ºF oven about 15 minutes or till lightly browned.
  8. Cool slightly before removing from pan to cooling rack.
