  • 2 c all purpose flour 3 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 c shortening, butter flavor 1 c milk
DIRECTIONS
  1. I large bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.
  2. Using fork or pastry blender, cut shortening into flour until consistancy of coarse meal.Add milk;stir with fork until mixture leaves sides of bowl and forms a soft moist dough.
  3. On floured surface, toss lightly until no longer sticky.
  4. Roll out 1/2 inch thick; cut with 2 inch floured cutter.
  5. Place on greased cookie sheet.
