Black Bean & Garlic Sauce
INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp Thai Fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp Mirin Cooking wine
  • 1 tbsp Tamari
  • 15 ml fresh lime juice
  • 15 oz can organic black beans, juice included
  • 8 g scallion, thinly sliced
  • 10 cilantro, chopped
  • 8 g. garlic, minced
  • 2 t ginger grated
  • 2 drops stevia
DIRECTIONS
  1. reserve 2 tablespoons of the beans and measles everything else in vitamix. (or other mini food prep) Blend for about 25 sec. until smooth.
  2. Transfer the sauce and the reserved whole beans to a small non-stick pan and simmer covered for about 10 min. It should be reduced by 1/4.
  3. 60 grams = 114 cal: 7.7 g protein, 19.1 g carbs, 0.8 g fat
