Black Bean & Sausage Soup

- Bag raw Black Beans
- 2lbs. All beef sausage Kiełbasa
- 1/2 cup onions
- 1 cup Orange Juice or a can of Rotel
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- salt to taste
- 1/2 cup of Jasmine rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 4 Garlic gloves (minced)
DIRECTIONS
- Soak your black beans overnight and drain and rinse in the morning.
- RINSE WELL
- Add onions, seasonings, oj, beef broth, garlic
- add a little water if needed
- bring to a boil and then let simmer for a few hours, I usually let them cook until the broth is stew like.
- dice sausage into 1/2'' slices and add
- cook yellow rice in a separate pot and add when you are ready to serve
