Black Forest Jam
  • 4 cups pitted cherries
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate liqueur
  • 1 package pectin
  1. *Pit and crush the cherries, and combine fruit, sugar and cocoa into pot and bring to a rolling boil make sure you combine all the cocoa, so there's no lumps
  2. *Boil hard for one minute, stirring constantly
  3. *Turn off the heat and add pectin, coconut and chocolate liqueur
  4. *Spoon into steaming hot jars and seal
