Black Russian Cake

  • Cake:
  • 1 pkg dark chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 (3oz) pkg instant chocolate pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup strong coffee
  • 1/2 cup creme de cacao
  • 1/4 cup Kahlua
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup onfectioners' sugar, sifted
  • 2 tablespoons strong coffee
  • 2 tablespoons Kahlua
  • 2 tablespoons creme de cacao
DIRECTIONS
  1. For the cake:
  2. Combine cake mix, oil, pudding mix, eggs, coffee, creme de cacao and kahlua in a large bowl.
  3. Bear for 4 minutes until quiet smooth.
  4. Pour into a greased 10" tube pan until three-fourths full. (Rest can be made into cupcakes)
  5. Bake 45 to 50 mins at 350.
  6. Remove from pan and invert onto a serving plate.
  7. Punch holes throughout the cake with a skewer or ice pick.
  8. Prepare the topping by combining all ingredients and mix well.
  9. Spoon over cake.
