Bleu Cheese Appetizer

INGREDIENTS
  • 12 Rhodes™ Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
  • 3 roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 3/4 cup crumbled bleu cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
  1. Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Combine rolls together to form a ball and roll into an 11x17-inch rectangle.
  3. Place on a sprayed 11x17-inch baking pan.
  4. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise 15-20 minutes.
  5. Remove wrap and poke with a fork several times. Brush with oil and sprinkle with basil, oregano and garlic powder.
  6. Bake at 350°F 10-15 minutes.
  7. Arrange onions and tomatoes over crust and sprinkle with cheeses.
  8. Bake at 350°F an additional 10 minutes.
