Bleu Cheese Appetizer
INGREDIENTS
- 12 Rhodes™ Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons dried basil
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 3 roma tomatoes, chopped
- 3/4 cup crumbled bleu cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
- Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
- Combine rolls together to form a ball and roll into an 11x17-inch rectangle.
- Place on a sprayed 11x17-inch baking pan.
- Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise 15-20 minutes.
- Remove wrap and poke with a fork several times. Brush with oil and sprinkle with basil, oregano and garlic powder.
- Bake at 350°F 10-15 minutes.
- Arrange onions and tomatoes over crust and sprinkle with cheeses.
- Bake at 350°F an additional 10 minutes.
