Bob Quigley's NY Cheese Cake

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 pkt + 2 crackers graham crackers
  • 1/2 c. blanched almonds
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 c. melted butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 3-8 oz pkgs of cream cheese
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp grand marnier (alcohol)
  • 1 pint sour cream
DIRECTIONS
  1. Crust:
  2. Pulverize almonds and crackers and 1/4 c sugar, cinnamon and butter.
  3. Butter spring form pan. make curst.
  4. Bake at 350F for 5 minutes. let cool
  5. Filling:
  6. Beat eggs and 1/2 c. sugar.
  7. Beat 5 minutes.
  8. Add cream cheese, 1/2 grand marnier and vanilla - mix well.
  9. Pour in crust, bake at 375F for 20 minutes.
  10. Until top is firm. Cool for at least 15 minutes.
  11. Topping:
  12. Blend sour cream, 6 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp grand marnier, and pour over stuff.
  13. Bake 475F for 55 minutes. Chill overnight.
