Boursin Creamed Spinach
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 25
- 1 T butter
- 1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
- 2 T flour
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 package Boursin cheese
- 1 package frozen chopped spinach
- 2 T parmesan
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
- salt, pepper and cayenne to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Saute onion in saucepan for 5 minutes. Add flour and cook for additional 1 minute.
- Whisk in milk and cream.
- Simmer 1 minute.
- Stir in Boursin until smooth.
- Remove from heat. Add spinach, parmesan, zest and spices.
- Transfer to baking disk.
- Top with Panko. Place dish on cookie sheet.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
