Brandi's Chicken Lasanga

INGREDIENTS
- 24 oz chicken broth
- 1.5 c flour
- 1 cup butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp basil
- 3 1/2 C cooked, diced chicken
- 1 lb cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- Box of no boil lasanga noodles
- Fresh Spinach leaves
- 2 bags of mozzarella cheese
- Shredded parmesan cheese (as topping)
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat Oven to 350
- Bring to a boil chicken broth, flour, butter, salt, basil, chicken. ( aka chicken mixture)
- Add cottage cheese and egg together in a bowl.
- In a lasanga/casserole dish, layer in this order:
- chicken mixture, noodles, chicken mixture, mozzarella, cottage cheese mixture, fresh spinach, noodles, chicken mixture, mozzarella, cottage cheese mixture, spinach, noodles, chicken mixture, mozzarella or parmesan to top.
- * it's important to make sure the chicken mixture covers the noodles, cause that is was cooks the noodles. Otherwise, they will be crunchy.
