Brandi's Chicken Lasanga

INGREDIENTS
  • 24 oz chicken broth
  • 1.5 c flour
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 3 1/2 C cooked, diced chicken
  • 1 lb cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Box of no boil lasanga noodles
  • Fresh Spinach leaves
  • 2 bags of mozzarella cheese
  • Shredded parmesan cheese (as topping)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat Oven to 350
  2. Bring to a boil chicken broth, flour, butter, salt, basil, chicken. ( aka chicken mixture)
  3. Add cottage cheese and egg together in a bowl.
  4. In a lasanga/casserole dish, layer in this order:
  5. chicken mixture, noodles, chicken mixture, mozzarella, cottage cheese mixture, fresh spinach, noodles, chicken mixture, mozzarella, cottage cheese mixture, spinach, noodles, chicken mixture, mozzarella or parmesan to top.
  6. * it's important to make sure the chicken mixture covers the noodles, cause that is was cooks the noodles. Otherwise, they will be crunchy.
  7. Bake 45 mins uncovered
