Breakfast Banana Nut Bread

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2-3 mashed ripe bananas
  • Walnuts chopped (opt)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees
  2. Beat egg, added melted butter (at room temp not hot) add sugar and mix well.
  3. Add bananas mashed, and 1 tsp vanilla
  4. Combine in dry ingredients 1/2 cup at a time
  5. stir in nuts
  6. Add to greased and floured bread tin
  7. Bake for 1 hour until toothpick comes out clean
