Brine Tender and Sweet Shrimp
  • Cooking Time: 12
  • Preparation Time: 40
  • 2 quarts water
  • 1/4 Cup Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • Soak 30-40 Minutes
  • Drain, Rinse and Cook.
  1. Always remember when you cook shrimp if you overcook them they become rubbery and tough.
  2. Shrimp cook in a matter of minutes, like 4 minutes a side. They will turn a nice pink color, don't cook more than 10 minutes total.
  3. I hate the precooked shrimp worse than poison, does that tell you how good they are.
This brine works excellent for a tender and sweet shrimp every time.
