Broccoli Casserole

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 to 3 packages frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire
  • 1/2 cup Swiss cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (red pepper)
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1. Cook broccoli according to package directions and drain well
  2. 2. Sauté onions in margarine till tender in medium pot
  3. 3. Add mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce and red pepper, mix well
  4. 4. Add cheese and garlic salt o mixture and cook until melted and blended. 5. Place broccoli in casserole dish and pour sauce mixture over broccoli, mix well
  5. 6. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top
  6. 7. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

We've been trying different broccoli casserole recipes by adding/deleting ingredients each time. This one has a little bite to it.
