Brown Sugar Pecans

  • 16 oz. pecan halves
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
DIRECTIONS
  1. Spread nuts on a foil lined cookie sheet
  2. Melt butter in a sasucepan over medium heat
  3. Add sugar, vanilla, and salt and stir one minute, then remove from heat
  4. Pour over nuts, stirring to coat
  5. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes, stopping to stir halfway through
  6. Remove from oven and spread onto wax paper to cool
